Sian Drinkwater ACA has worked in the Professional Recruitment sector now for 28 years. She is uniquely, professionally qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and both the combination of her professional background and longevity in the market has given her an extensive knowledge of the executive and senior finance recruitment market. She has spent a significant part of her career recruiting CFOs and Finance Directors for Clients as well as other C-suite non-finance roles.
Sian graduated in Modern Languages and Business Studies at Swansea University before training and qualifying as an accountant with Deloitte. She latterly embarked on a career in recruitment. Following a successful 16-year career at Hays Plc, where she operated as a Business Director, she set up Head4Talent in 2012.
Since its debut in 2012, Head4Talent has led on some high-profile Executive and Senior Finance appointments in Wales and beyond.
Outside of work, Sian has a busy family life with 3 sons and a dog. Sian is a regular park-runner and enjoys longer distance challenges too.
DJ Medway ACA looks after middle management finance assignments.
Prior to joining Head4Talent, she
was a Relationship Director with Bank of Scotland and then joined Santander
Corporate Bank.
She has extensive knowledge of banking relationships,
funding structures and relationship management across a broad range of
different organisations.
She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
With her banking and accountancy experience, DJ can quickly gain a good understanding of her Clients’ businesses, with their challenges and opportunities, to enhance her capability of sourcing the most suitable candidate shortlist.
Alex Pughe
Alex is a senior-level financial and C-Suite recruiter with over 25 years' experience in both the London and South Wales markets.
The majority of his career has been spent sourcing mid to senior-level finance professionals, working closely with a diverse mix of clients. Alex's success is based on creating robust, long-term relationships with transparent and candid communication. This, combined with a focus on delivery, has resulted in an exceptional network and a deep understanding of the value of a genuine recruitment partner. He has gained a particularly strong track record in recruiting C-Suite professionals within the Fintech and technology sectors.
Aside from work and family (partner, 2 teenagers, 2 dogs and 3 cats), Alex is a keen golfer, fan of 80's music and Spurs supporter.

Sarah Gilbert has a background in event management and internal/employee communications across a range of industries. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and specialised in marketing.
Client-focussed, with a passion for organisation and a keen eye for detail, Sarah provides administration and business support to the Head4Talent team.

Ellie Hogan
Ellie Hogan graduated with a BA (Hons) in English & Theatre Studies. Experienced in providing strong administrative support, coordinating, logistics and planning. Has worked for the BBC, ATS Global Entertainment, and Barking Lion Productions.
Joined Head4talent in 2023 and greatly enjoying the pace and dynamism of the recruitment process.
