Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner

Our Client:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner to support a key commercial project and financial review programme within a fast-paced organisation. Our client is a PE backed growing specialist care provider focussed on providing exceptional quality of service and implementing latest developments in specialist care to improve the lives of clients and their families.

The Role:

This role will focus on reviewing pricing structures, analysing cost data, and developing robust financial models to provide a clear and accurate understanding of the organisation’s cost base. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping the business justify spend, improve commercial decision-making, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and value.

• Review and analyse pricing models, commercial agreements, and cost structures.
• Build and enhance detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop a clear and accurate picture of the organisation’s cost base across key operational areas.
• Partner with commercial, operational, procurement, and finance teams to gather and validate data.
• Provide insightful analysis to support investment decisions and spend justification.
• Identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis activities.
• Produce clear management information and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Challenge assumptions and improve financial transparency across the business.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen commercial and financial reporting.

About You:

We are looking for a commercially focused finance professional with strong analytical capability and experience operating in complex environments.

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in commercial finance business partnering roles.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Experience analysing pricing, margin, and operational cost data.
• The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in an interim capacity.
• Experience within complex, multi-site, operational, or project-led environments would be advantageous.
