Financial Reporting Manager

Our Client:

Exciting fast growth organisation in the leisure industry.  The group has locations nationwide and has ambition for further growth in the coming years.

The Role:

• Audit Management: Point of contact between the auditors and the finance team.
• Embedding Processes: Establish and embed robust financial processes and systems to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• External Stakeholder Management: Build and develop relationships with key external stakeholders. E.g. Auditors, Bank, Exec.
• Internal Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with the Finance Team and wider business. Assist with finance projects where relevant and assess impact on business of decisions.
• Statutory Accounts Prep: Preparation of the statutory accounts for the >35 group entities.
• Technical Accounting: Impairment reviews, Going Concern assessments, new accounting standard implementation.
• Assist with Month-End: Assist the finance team in preparing a monthly consolidation, monitor movement of Goodwill across the group, produce a number of month-end reconciliations.
• Statutory Compliance: Managing creation of new entities, movement of trade between entities, compliance returns and statutory reporting.
• Long Term Strategy: Assist in planning for long term corporate strategies through structure of business, structure and content of reporting and forward looking analysis.

General

• Preparing processing notes for relevant tasks.
• Maintaining Finance Inbox.
• Assisting with FP&A on Analysis Projects.

About You:

• Experience within a Similar Role: Essential
• ACA, CCA, CIMA: Essential

• Business Central or Similar ERP Knowledge: Desirable.
• Excel Skills: Intermediate level essential.
