The Role:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Management Accountant will support the preparation of group financial analysis, monthly management accounts, reforecasts and budgets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly group consolidated income statements, balance sheets and cash flow reporting, with supporting analysis and schedules.
- Producing monthly management accounts for senior leadership review.
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end financial reporting for the group head office entity.
- Preparing monthly consolidated reforecasts, including sales, margin and cost analysis.
- Supporting the preparation of group consolidated budgets, including relevant analysis and schedules.
- Assisting with audit processes relating to group consolidation and statutory reporting.
- Preparing tax packs and supporting finance compliance activity as required.
- Working flexibly across finance priorities, managing deadlines and supporting wider team objectives.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting capability and the confidence to work across group reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
You will bring:
- A relevant accounting or finance qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience working in a group environment; multicurrency experience would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel and strong general IT skills.
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Excellent communication skills and a service-focused approach.
- A hands-on, proactive style, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
