Group Management Accountant

The Role:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Management Accountant will support the preparation of group financial analysis, monthly management accounts, reforecasts and budgets.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly group consolidated income statements, balance sheets and cash flow reporting, with supporting analysis and schedules.
• Producing monthly management accounts for senior leadership review.
• Taking ownership of the end-to-end financial reporting for the group head office entity.
• Preparing monthly consolidated reforecasts, including sales, margin and cost analysis.
• Supporting the preparation of group consolidated budgets, including relevant analysis and schedules.
• Assisting with audit processes relating to group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Preparing tax packs and supporting finance compliance activity as required.
• Working flexibly across finance priorities, managing deadlines and supporting wider team objectives.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting capability and the confidence to work across group reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement.

You will bring:

• A relevant accounting or finance qualification.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience working in a group environment; multicurrency experience would be advantageous.
• Advanced Excel and strong general IT skills.
• The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Excellent communication skills and a service-focused approach.
• A hands-on, proactive style, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
