Interim Financial Controller

Our Client:

Our client is a Cardiff based service sector business with a strong reputation for service delivery. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join the business on a long term contract basis.

The Role:

• Responsible for overseeing an experienced finance team in financial reporting, preparation of management accounts, and annual statutory accounts. 
• Contribute to key business change projects including IT upgrade.
• Responsible for board reporting, budgeting & forecasting and FP&A activities. 
• Act as a business partner to the wider business and work closely with the exec team to produce relevant and timely information for use in the strategic planning process.

About You:

• Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience at FC or Head of Finance level
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Proven budgeting and forecasting skills
• Experience of supporting and driving key business improvement programmes
