Finance Business Partner

Our Client:

Large organisation with strong finance team. The group is going through a period of growth and operates in a really interesting sector.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner.

The FBP will act as a strategic advisor to various business units and will connect financial data with operational strategy. The FBP will translate complex numbers into actionable insights, driving budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions while challenging management to ensure financial goals align with broader company objectives. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Collaborating with department heads to build annual budgets and long-term financial models. 
• Commercial Challenge: Acting as a "critical friend" to non-finance leaders by stress-testing business plans, evaluating risks.
• Performance Monitoring: Developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the financial performance of the business units.
• Management Reporting: Analyzing monthly financial results to explain variances (actual vs. budget) and identify opportunities for revenue growth or cost savings.

• Qualified accountant
• Experience in a business partnering role 
• Excellent communication skills
• Important to have the right mindset of being curious, ability to challenge assumptions and commercial thinking to provide solutions.
