Primary Purpose of Role:
The role forms a vital part of the UK Corporate Finance team and will primarily be responsible for assisting the FP&A process along with providing data analysis for the wider business. A key part of the role will also be assisting the transition from Oracle to SAP ERP systems and building financial business platforms to support the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Revenue and expense forecasting, scenario modeling, performance tracking, strategic planning and management reporting.
- Maintaining in-depth forecast models to track actuals and predict future financial performance
- Balance sheet and general ledger accounting
- Process improvement, ad-hoc modelling and quarter end close support
- Partnering with the business team to manage annual operating budgets, track results, expenses, headcounts, and provide visibility to divisional and finance leadership
- Analyzing monthly financial results, deriving key trends and insights, and drilling down to underlying performance drivers
- Distilling large amounts of data into actionable insights, leveraging financial and operational database systems

Skills and Experience:
- Solid accounting knowledge and ability to apply the accounting principles to work
- Excellent Excel skills and track record of being able to build complex financial models
- Experience of Oracle and SAP ERP systems beneficial
- Demonstrated financial or analytical experience with strong forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis acumen
Qualifications:
- · Degree level
- · Ideally part-qualified or holding a relevant accounting e.g. CIMA / ACCA
- · Preferably a knowledge and exposure to USGAAP and SOX practices
