Finance Manager

Type : Permanent
Salary : to £50k plus excellent benefits

The Role: 

This role is responsible for partnering the business area , ensuring the best 

commercial decisions are made to maximise value for the business, whilst maintaining the core 

functionality of ensuring integrity of results 

Key Responsibilities: 

* Ensure the strategic and commercial development and deployment through identifying and 

delivering the strategic milestones 

* Contribute to the achievement of  objectives by providing sound advice and 

guidance on financial processes & strategy 

* Support the business Director and Managers in the preparation of budgets and financial reports, 

this includeds managing and developing the monitoring and reporting of financial performance 

throughout the year, ensuring that this is supplemented through the provision of analysis and 

insight 

* Provide commercial advise, support to the Director and Senior Managers through the Product 

Development stage 

* Assess the long term financial trends and review prospects for future growth and new product 

areas 

* To ensure the business area meets its financial and legal responsibilities 

* Take part in Risk Management Monitoring  as and when required 

* Work with the wider Finance team to ensure internal and external audits are completed and actions 

for the business area are noted and actioned 

* Work with the wider Finance team continuously improve the systems and policies in the team to 

ensure waste is minimised and value to the business is optimised

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: * Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is essential * Ability to demonstrate an understanding of fast moving market driven sales and financial services environments and an in-depth understanding of complex business processes * Experience of working in a high growth organisation is desirable * Must have a complete working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional * Knowledge of ERP operating systems – Microsoft AX would be beneficial
